I started Sex, Lies & Tacos as part of my healing journey.
Honestly? I didn't know what else to do.
I was tired of retelling the story in ways that kept me stuck.
Tired of being the victim.
Tired of carrying the shame and fear like they were mine to hold alone forever.
Season 1 was meant to heal me. And to end the harassment I was still facing as I hit record.
I didn't really expect it to help anyone else.
But then people started reaching out. Telling me they saw themselves in my story. That even though the details of their stories were different, the feelings were so relatable. That they'd been carrying the same shame, the same isolation, the same embarrassment- thinking they were the only ones.
That changed everything.
It's messy, it's bold, it's deeply human.
